Ante-Natal Clinic
We have a midwife team. To book in with the midwife, please call in to the surgery to complete a "booking-in form". The midwives will then organise your appointments.
Asthma Clinic
Asthma clinic is held weekly.
Patients are invited for their routine check appointments. If you wish to make an appointment with our Nurse, please telephone the surgery on 01269 860348.
Blood Pressure/ECG/Weight Checks
Blood pressure appointments, ECGs and weight checks can be made on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with the Health Care Assistant.
Cervical Screening Clinic

Child Immunisations & Baby Check Clinic
Child vaccination clinic is held on Monday afternoons.
Appointments are sent out. Please make every effort to attend.
Diabetic Clinic
Diabetic clinic is held weekly.

Health Visitor Clinic

Clinics for under 5s are held on Mondays from 2 pm - 3pm.
Advanced Physiotherapy Clinic
Pre-bookable appointments are available on Tuesday & Thursday afternoons directly with the Physiotherapist in our surgery.
Phlebotomy Clinic
Blood tests at the surgery are limited to patients requiring blood monitoring, urgent requests from the GPs and those that cannot get to the hospitals.

Over 75 years of age?
Consultations are available for patients aged over 75 years who haven’t attended the practice in the last 3 years.
Travel Clinic
The Practice Nurses will offer travel health advice and vaccinations for polio, typhoid, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, malaria and tetanus. You will need to be seen by the Practice Nurse at least 8 weeks before you travel.
Non- NHS Services: Medicals, Reports & Private Certificates
Medical examinations for special purposes, elderly drivers, fitness to undertake sport, travel, HGV and taxi licence medical etc may be booked with the receptionist and a fee is payable. Medicals for insurance companies are generally paid for by the insurance company. A fee is normally payable for non-NHS services. The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.
Contraception & Family Planning
Post-natal, contraception and maternity services are also provided at the surgery. You can also access sexual health services via the local clinics based in Pond Street, Carmarthen or The Elizabeth Williams Clinic, Llanelli. Access to both clinics can be made by calling 01267 248674 Monday to Friday 9:15 am to 4:30 pm.
